British Columbia Operating Room Nurses Group


Registered Nurses in British Columbia who are engaged in operating room nursing or a member of the College of Registered Nurses who are interested in promoting the purpose of PRNABC are eligible.

Perioperative Registered Nurses are specialty trained professionals who work in a variety of roles and settings including clinical practice, education, administration, research and expanded roles such as the Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA). Using a collaborative interdisciplinary approach, perioperative registered nurses work with a view towards promoting the highest quality of safe patient care before, during, and after surgery.
