A Bachelor of Nursing from UNB qualifies graduates to write the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE) set by the Canadian Nurses Association. The Program emphasizes knowledge, skills and abilities that are essential for working in the primary healthcare environment. Opportunities for clinical practice are emphasized where students work in medical facilities, hospitals, community healthcare clinics and rehabilitation centres. By enrolling in the BN program, students have the opportunity to practice in a wide variety of sites locally and provincially, and possibly nationally and internationally.
